Awful! Keeping my dogs home when it is this hot. They refused to run with me which was odd for them.

Ran with the dogs and they were hot. Ran for about 2 miles without stopping then walk and ran to finish.

Personally, I do not do much weight training but do core work as well as lunges a couple of times a week before a run.

I do weight training 2-3x per week, core work 1x per week, yoga 1x per week. I've been doing a lot more (stationary) biking since the shin started bothering me but I need to do more of it even when I'm well. When I'm injury-free, I typically run 5x per week.

Spinning!!!! ;) Seriously though it's great cross training 2-3 times per week. It's a complement to running because it keeps your cardiovascular system working hard but it's not as taxing on the body because it's non-impact.
