Randy: A P90X move. Start standing up, squat down, jump your feet back. Do a push up, pull the right knee in, do another push up, pull the left knee in, then jump to your feet and put your hands up. Do it very fast, over and over--killer.
Chas--yes, I'm doing the original one...mostly the core and yoga.

Ok, so I've been getting these terrible cramps in my foot and calf. Really devastating ones that just come on out of the blue, usually when I'm relaxing. Freddie, my son, says, "drink more water; you're probably dehydrated." Come to think of it, I've been getting the cramps since I've been doing the slow LHR training. I think he has a point. I'm running as long as I did when I ran more miles, and drank more, but since I'm not using as much effort, I'm drinking less but running just as long.

Natalie--I have found that I seem more dehydrated after these runs and that I sweat more during them. No idea why--but I think we need to drink extra. I sometimes get that end of a long run feeling on a short, low HR run.
