great Castleton - Pine Ridge 3 miler 3.11 mi 00:37 11:55 pace

My plan was for an easygoing 3 miler, but I felt fantastic! I slowed it down in the second mile to go with the "easy" theme but decided to do some mailbox fartleks for the last mile. My new Flows are a little snug in the forefoot, which makes my feet tired at first, but they felt great once I was warmed up. Splits: 12:22, 12:45, 10:58, [9:31] <----- That was me!

    Great running Kim! The book Brain Training for runners talks about the pace effect of nearing the end of the run and how we need to capture that brain energy for the whole run! If you ever figure it out let me know:-) Cos I have not got it yet!
