Had some time for a run before Mike's grandma's memorial service so I did a straight out-and-back and ran through "downtown" Delmar. The sidewalks gradually got more slushy and snowy so I had to really watch my step. Did ok on pace despite the slush and waiting for traffic lights. It was about 32 degrees and misty but thanks to everyone who talked me into keeping my MCM windbreaker, I was comfortable. :-)

I forgot to say thank you to everyone who offered condolences! His grandma had Alzheimers and has really been an empty shell of her former self for a long time. Before she became ill, she was the perfect grandma - great smile, funny sense of humor, made great pies and cookies, canned and made jam, was a whiz with flowers and plants, loved cats, fed the birds, and loved her grandkids wholeheartedly. My grandma passed long before Mike and I were married, so I loved having her as a substitute grandma.
