  1. RUN
great Dismal Swamp Brick - Run 1.5 mi 00:18 11:42 pace

Added a short run to make it a brick. Felt great! SI joint issues at a minimum but looking forward to starting PT next week...

  2. VELO
good Dismal Swamp Brick - Ride 25.43 mi 01:39 15.4mph pace

Beautiful day for a ride at the Swamp but I was so happy to get off the bike at the end.

  3. RUN
good Pax River run 3 mi 00:41 13:36 pace

10 min warmup, then 3 min steady/3 min easy x 4, then 1 min steady/1 min easy x 3. Started slow and got slower, ugh. Very humid and tummy was a bit dodgy, but there was lots to look at between the ... read more

  4. swim
great Pax River swim 0.74 mi 00:35 47:40 pace

Nice swim in the 50 meter outdoor pool! Had the place to myself.

Actual distance was 1200 meters but the mobile app doesn't allow meters and rounds up by 25 yards...

  5. RUN
good DST Brick - run 3.01 mi 00:40 13:17 pace

Warm one but felt pretty good .

  6. VELO
great DST Brick - ride 21 mi 01:26 14.7mph pace

Nice ride with Angela. Slightly tough headwind on the way back.

  7. swim
great Chesapeake Bay OWS 0.65 mi 00:41 62:21 pace

Well, that was an interesting swim. The tide was out and the current was strong. It took me 24 min to do the first 500 yards and 10 min to do the second 500 yards. The water was colder than Saturda... read more

  8. RUN
great Dismal Swamp Brick - Run 2.01 mi 00:25 12:23 pace

Run went well too, felt pretty strong and hip issues weren't a problem. Thought I was going faster in the second mile. Oh well!

  9. VELO
great Dismal Swamp Brick - Ride 21.01 mi 01:24 15.1mph pace

Ride was lovely! I think my average speed was faster but I slowed a lot around the Tidewater Striders doing their 10-miler. Fun to see lots of familiar faces, especially Running Turtles!

  10. swim
good OWS in the Bay 901 yd 00:30 58:59 pace

After our run, we headed to the Bay side for an open water swim. Water was warm and nice!

  11. RUN
good First Landing Trail Run 3.5 mi 00:47 13:33 pace

First time back on the trails in ages - loved it! First two miles were slow but comfortable. Hip started yelling for the last 1.5. Lots of happy, sweaty runners out there today.

Love Saturday at the park ... unwritten rule that runners own those trails on Saturday mornings!!!

  13. VELO
great Dismal Swamp Ride 16.32 mi 00:55 17.9mph pace

Rode with Mike at the Swamp. Somewhere along the way he picked up a pelaton. :-) I fell off the back for the last 4 miles but still managed a respectable 16+ mph. Morning was cool but very humid. A... read more

  14. RUN
injured Hotel Treadmill 2.44 mi 00:35 14:20 pace

Includes 5 min warmup and 5 min cool. Hip was pretty sore after an afternoon of baseball watching, but I really can't complain about baseball and beer on a sunny week day... ;-)

great Cool Down 4.22 mi 00:18 14.1mph pace

Easy breezy cool down for a total of 20 miles.

  16. VELO
great DST Ride 16.09 mi 00:53 18.1mph pace

Today's easy speedy ride courtesy of the Mister's slipstream. :-) It was a little more work to keep up on the last 5 miles but I focused on his bum (safety first!) and kept going.

  17. RUN
blah Tidewater Sprint Tri - Run 3.05 mi 00:40 12:59 pace

The run was tough, but I'm terribly out of run-shape. Really need to get this hip issue resolved. It was hot when the sun came out but there was a really nice breeze off the water.

    Overall... read more

great Tidewater Sprint Tri - Bike 10.83 mi 00:39 16.5mph pace

The road was a little bumpy but well marked. Some windy spots, but overall I'm happy with my ride - passed lots of people! :-)
