The plan was to run 1 hour easy then 1 hour at marathon goal pace (8:58). The 1 hour easy was easy while enjoying the company of Mary, Annie and Sharon. The 1 hour at mp was not so easy. Although I was able to pick up the pace a little, I couldn't quite get the pace down to the target. Still I was happy with the time. Had this been an actual race it would have been my 3rd fast half marathon.
