good Seafair Torchlight Parade Run 5 km 00:26 08:22 pace
I ran it impromptu, I just happened to be wearing running clothes, it was a hot afternoon and decided to run it last minute! Didn't do too shabby!

Good job on the 5k Saskia. I Honestly like doing a little more than than 5k's these days because my level of endurance allows me to run longer without looking too slow. Good trade off though. Lol. 8:22 pace for you is pretty good, so just keep it up and you'll see minutes disappearing from your total race time. -And a good way to train for a 5k is to run 10k's.

I didn't train at all, LMAO. Hence the soreness for three days afterwards. Good idea though. I'd still like to work up to that half marathon, but baby steps.

The farthest I've done in a day is 40 miles with moderate hills. No bike races for me, I'd do swim and run for race, but I'm aiming for triathlons!

good ALS DoubleDay Bike Ride 2011 85 mi 08:40 9.8mph pace
It went amazingly. The second day had even more hills and challenges than the first, but I blew through rest stops and biked a time almost 45 minutes faster than day one :)
