    Did a bit of experimentation today with 4k runs followed by walk breaks of 5mins. ummm.. mixed bag results :). Todays plan was 14Kms, did the remaining 4kms till ncpa at easy pace

      @Milton, Was trying to do longer distance intervals at a higher than tempo pace (4:55min/km). The idea was to try an improve my ability to run at a faster pace for a longer duration of time. It failed because while I maintain the first split at a 4:57 speed, I then dropped to a 5:10 for the next 4k and finally couldn't really sustain even a 5:30 later on :). So pace was too hot to begin with, I would assume.
