  1. RUN
good Rose Rudman 5.5 mi 00:54 09:50 pace

Felt good to get out there again after almost 3 weeks of laziness and gluttony.

  2. RUN
alright Dallas Marathon 26.46 mi 05:43 12:56 pace

Not at all what I planned, but it's done.

  3. RUN
    good 11.48 mi 02:16 11:50 pace

    Taper

  4. RUN
    alright 20.01 mi 04:37 13:49 pace

    I can't lie... this sucked.

  5. RUN
good Rose Rudman 4 mi 00:40 09:57 pace

IT Band is stiff. Stopped to stretch during the 2nd mile, but overall it's better than it has been. Beautiful morning for a run.

  6. RUN
alright Gilmer Road 18.01 mi 03:38 12:07 pace

18 miles! My IT Band was stiff and sore, but all the ice baths, massages, foam rolling and stretching evidently paid off because I actually completed the run. I didn't break any speed records,... read more

  7. RUN
alright Boorman Trail 2.03 mi 00:20 09:57 pace

A short, flat 2 miles to see how my IT Band is doing before tackling the long run this weekend. Stiff and still painful.

  8. RUN
injured Gilmer Road 11 mi 02:12 11:59 pace

Set out for my 18 mile training run on a chilly Saturday morning and felt so good. I held steady and strong for miles, but truly knew after 3 that there was a little problem with my right leg. I th... read more

  9. RUN
good Boorman Trail 3.51 mi 00:33 09:27 pace

A very quick (for me) 3.5 miles. Check out those negative splits!

  10. RUN
great Palo Duro Canyon 20k 12.39 mi 03:01 14:36 pace

This is my favorite race of the year. I didn't set any records, as you can see, but to run in the canyon at dawn with people I care about is just about as good as it gets.

  11. RUN
    alright Longview 16-miler 15.82 mi 03:07 11:49 pace

It wasn't great... Some walking, several water stops, but it's done. I paid for the gluttony of the night before and didn't get up and get started early... so the heat and humidity w... read more

You can do it!! Think of it in small increments - I like to break it up into the out-and-back portions. So tomorrow's run is nothing but an 8 miler (x2). :)

Oh, I hope not!! Ha! I'm really fine. It was just some bruising of the hands, knees, shoulder and pride. I'm thankful I didn't face plant!
