I am curious. What are strides? I wasn't sure if it was a type of workout or if you were bragging about how much longer your strides are than us short people. :)

Yes, I'm bragging. Strides (as I understand them) are your short sprints, the longer jogs routines. I like them because I don't do a lot of speedwork, but I like to do something that pushes me into something faster for a brief time. So, for this workout, I did 5min warmup then [:45 sprint + 1:30 slow] x 6, then 5 min cooldown. Sort of like fartlecs really.

Nope: I just head out on Shaknklin Trail...much better way to run.

I like it... I'll have to keep that workout in mind. Sounds like a fun one and I need to take that route sometime too.
