blah Kalamazoo Marathon 26.22 mi 03:58 09:05 pace

Let me begin by saying that the organizers and the people of Kalamazoo are great people: enthusiastic about their city and about this event. I only experienced good vibes from the fans and voluntee... read more

Sounds like an awesome experience even though the race might not have gone quite the way you wanted. I've heard nothing but great things about Kalamazoo. Note that you're not the only one who declined, though! While your average pace dropped between timing mats, your rank improved each time, so others were slowing more than you! Great race!

Nice job Chris - sub 4 while feeling pooped is pretty impressive to me! Looks like others were in the same boat - as your pace decreased, your rank increased.

good Simple Six 6 mi 00:52 08:43 pace

I'm not wearing layers anymore and I insisted that I was to wear shorts no matter what (take that Mother Nature of Northern Indiana). In short: a cooler run (+43f) and a comfortable pace.

    • Pat P.

No layers? I'm still wimpy and wearing a second shirt, but shorts are here to stay. Nice miles Chris.
