Brrr! 24*, "felt like" 12* when I left the house this morning. There was still an inch or so of snow on most of the sidewalks and ice in the shadows. My fingers are still freezing! Slow r... read more

RUN
alright Kinder Park Farm 3.1 mi 00:32 10:17 pace
Tough course this morning! Rusty and I both struggled with this one. Lots of hills, narrow path, and snowy/wet conditions. I went out waaaay too fast and couldn't sustain it. It was still a nice ru... read more

Taking two days off in a row feels so wrong--my legs are twitchy! I hope this bodes well for my 5K with Rusty N. tomorrow and my 5-miler on Sunday.

RUN
good Harewood loop, backwards 3.12 mi
Easy run, no Garmin. I've been in a running funk for the last week or so, so today I needed to just shake out the legs and try to exorcise some demons from my running brain. Honestly, just like m... read more

Hi-five:
Really and truly, every run counts. Get out there when you're really not feeling it and do something...you'll feel better even if it's a little.

I had some sort of mental block today and couldn't make my legs move. I pushed and pushed, but there was nothing there. Oh well. Can't win them all.

alright Trainer @ home 28 mi 02:00 14.0mph pace
Slow spin today. This was much harder than it needed to be, for some reason, but it's done, and that's all that matters. Time to eat!

I so wish I could use the SOs trainer but we aren't the same size. Boo. Nice work!

RUN
good Canton 2.01 mi 00:20 10:02 pace
Just a little shakeout run. Dropped off a Redbox movie at Safeway, cruised down Boston Street a bit, moved the legs, etc., etc. It was a short run, but it felt good to get out there.

good Baltimore Harbor Path 2.01 mi 00:20 10:10 pace
Nice, smooth, easy run to round out the week. The wind was getting pretty wild at times--it almost knocked me into the Harbor! Glad I got out there, though; Sunday running always feels good.

RUN
great Harewood loop 2.25 mi
I love running naked! No Garmin or iPod for me today--just the bare necessities. The temperature was a perfect 39*, and I only needed a long-sleeve base layer and light capris. LOVED IT.

Wow way to go! There was no way I was running on the ice today. I was walking to the gym on-campus and almost fell on my ass because of a tiny patch of ice on a shoveled sidewalk! Impressive!

Thanks! It was certainly tough, but I made it through miraculously without falling! I don't mind the cold, but I'll admit the ice made me a little nervous. :)
