Warm up and Cool down..
Goal was to do 16 km (10 miles)..Wasn't strong enough to get through the last 2 km..
400m walking break from 10.4-10.8 km..
My longest run ever!!! :)

What was meant to be Saturday's 10k..Ran as steady as possible..
My PB for the 10k, if only just.. :)..Previous one was 1:02:56
Your next 10k run will be a sub1 hour. I am very much sure.Go for it..sprint the last 2 km :-)

Walked 400m after the prev run..Decided that I should go for the 10k afterall, started running again..Felt like crap, stopped at 1.6km..made it 8km for the day..
Was supposed to be 10k, long run for the week..Felt a twinge in my left leg at 6k and pace started slowing down..didn't want to risk it..So stopped at 6.4k..On hindsight, shouldn't have stopped..
Nice run there varun. Good one. Always we've another day. Cheer up my friend.

Another slow run..maybe a little slower than what I would have liked..
Supposedly, every pound you lose gains you ~1.5 sec/km..Cant believe I put on 4 pounds during my December break..Damn!

Dont worry about a few pounds here and there. A regular disciplined training will bring you into shape. Try to run regular and you will be there. Good run today.

Took a break after the first run and ran a little bit more..tried to push myself during the last km since I knew it was going to be a short run..
Aborted run due to severe abdomen pain, the kind I used to get when I first started running..Hope it doesnt happen again..
It might be side-stitch if it's on the right side just under the rib-cage. Belly breathing during the run helps.

Yes. I had the side sticth around 2 to 3 times and mostly during the runs where I had not done proper warm up. I have learnt over time to match my breathing with my foot strike as Gerald says. And in the recent times I have not had such side stomach stitch. Take care Varun.

Another morning run..Felt better than the previous one, but still rusty from the december break..
But this aint a rusty workout. This is a good run. Just try to keep up the kmomentum from now on.

My first 10k.. :)..Sure was tiring..
I dont know where the blame lies..5k was at 30:40 and pace went down after that..
Splits were 5:52,11:57,18:10,24:20,30:40,37:20,43:40,49:57,56:05, 62:56
