So how's the NH winter working out for you? Are there any days where you miss your previous home (it was NM, right)?

Oh yeah, there were days I missed NM, but we love it here. It's been raining for days and this is the main reason we moved back! Water rushing everywhere! We miss the Western mountains for sure, but would rather "live" here.

      5ks, huh? I'm not sold.
Hope the back fixes up soon. I have, at the tender age of 38, a sciatic issue that I've had for about 18 years... it sucks, so I feel your pain. This looks like a solid training run for maybe like a marathon or something. ;-)

No long races on roads....so 5K's and the other end, ultras on trails ;-)
I fell during Wasatch in 2002 which slipped a disc and pressed on the sciatica. It's been my weak spot for years. A Chiro fixed it back then, guess it's time to go back.
      I have a 50K trail race in 3 weeks ;-)

I can enjoy the long trails because of the hiking breaks, but long sustained running on asphalt I can't do anymore.
