      Rachel....things have cleared up well. Swelling is down, scrapes are healing and I'm ready to pace for 50+ miles on Saturday! was a run/hike, not a bike ride. Thanks!

      I may have a small broken bone in my hand, but there's nothing they can do, so I won't get it xrayed. I did have a hardrocker doc look at it. No pain, swelling is going down, cuts are healing.
      We won't be up that weekend because we think we have to pack up the house that weekend, otherwise I was also planning on the Kendall Run.

      Yes, you can drink the water and if you hike up the very easy to follow Ice Lake trail, then from up there you can see Island Lake, just head towards it XC , then follow a trail you'll see on the far side of Island Lake back down to the Ice Lake trail. For real excitement add a summit of Grant Swamp Pass, which is where the trail goes behind Island Lake.
