I wear Newtons and so far love them. In Nov. while shopping for Newtons the sales man had me try on a pair of Hoka. Wow it was like walking on the moon, no kidding. I ran on the treadmill and it was like running on air if that makes any sense. My concern was the thickness of the bottom of the shoe. Meaning were used to much less thickness so how would that play while running outdoors? Would I have to lift my foot further than usual which would change the dynamics of a persons run.

I don't lift my feet any more than usual. They do take a few runs to get used to because they are pretty cushy. That said, I can't even wear Kinvaras anymore. I have a pair of Newtons, but they just weren't the right shoe for me.

good Where the South Side Runners Go 10 mi 01:33 09:19 pace

Windy is as windy does. Wanted to run somewhere between 7 and 12 today. 10 felt about right. I remember 10 years ago when 2 miles sounded ridiculously long. Perspective can make a huge difference.

I have a hill like that. I've managed it once in 3 years of living here. Never really though of turning it over to God. Great idea. Cassie, you really teach great lessons even without meaning to!
