    After a 2 and half month layoff from surgery, I ran for the first time yesterday. I jogged 2 miles on my treadmill. It was EXTREMELY slow, but very self rewarding.

    Haven't run in over a week, this was tough! Was hoping to get below 35 but i'm ok with this since i haven't been able to run lately. Hard to find energy to run during P90X.

    Lunges, lunges and more lunges!! I haven't done a wall sit since I was in High School athletics. ouucch!! I remember now how much I hated them.

      The first 45 min. were on the floor...lots of planks, downward dogs, warrior poses and other moves that i don't the names of. The last 45 was all standing up stuff. It's really new to me and hard to explain. Hope this helps :)

    Did P90X Day 3. One hour of arms and 15 minutes of Abs. Couple hours later ran 3 miles on Millie. Seemed to be easier on my legs. Maybe the strength training is helping with my running.

      I really do like it. The leader Tony Horton is very upbeat and understanding about needing to take breaks etc...I'd recommend it so far. :)

    Day 2 P90X - Plyometrics day. Felt pretty good doing these exercises. I guess Jillian Michaels DVD's helped prepare me for these. :)

    Not sure of the distance. No Garmin. Ran around the HS I work at and down one of the streets. VERY hot, and a lot of sunshine...I prefer shady runs.

      A run is a run is a run. Shouldn't really matter whether it's on the pavement or the millie, in the sun or on the shade. Impt thing is you had fun! Congrats! Good job, Monica!
