  1. VELO
Nandi, curve 37 and back 127 km

Curve 37 is my new nemesis. By the time I got there, my hammy and hip-extensor ganged up and threatened to burn and explode if I didn't stop. A new low. Good thing is that it will be really hard to... read more

    injured Bangalore Ultra 2011 53.13 km 07:32 13:41 pace

7.32 is wall time - inclusive of waiting at aid stations, at the baggage counter and at the doctor's. Had to pull out at the halfway point with a terrible pain in the hips - gluteus medius tendonit... read more

Brave attempt. Too bad about the tendinitis but was hoping you would do this next year. Still want my watch to do a 100k! And indeed kudos to Mohan. He's a true buddy! Heal soon and come back stronger....

Ullas, If there's one thing that all my running has shown me this year - it's the need for strengthening my glutes and hips. I realize you are recovering from tendinitis (something that I won't even pretend that I understand). I hope your hips recover and are stronger for the next time.

  5. RUN
    CVR - 5 laps 9.94 km 01:03 10:12 pace

Spent an annoying amount of time putting stuff away when it started to pour mid-run, sometimes your stuff does end up owning you!

    good GKVK 5 loops 52.36 km 06:28 11:55 pace

50 was at 6:10, 10 mins off pace, but I'll live with that. Fortuitously bumped into Suresh S. and got a guided tour of the nicest trails. Thanks! Had a great time running a chatty 21 km (just unde... read more

  7. RUN
    CVR laps 6 km 00:36 09:40 pace

Don't know how I managed to run exactly 6. Set out to do 10, but quit as I got bored, really need to find other places to run.

  8. RUN
CV Raman Nagar laps 6.75 km 00:34 08:08 pace

    A quickie between work.

  9. RUN
    C V Raman Nagar laps 10.25 km 01:08 10:40 pace

Tried 15:1 run/walk, works better than 5:1 for me. Should have gotten used to this much earlier, what a goof-up!

Threw in 2 hill-sprints, those really up my spirits.

Nice to get off the bloody couch and start running and cycling. Finally! Amazing how quickly one can get de-trained.

Discovered a 270m single-track next to the BEML track. Lovely, I say!
