    had to walk for .25 just to make sure my knee didn't get tight, but other than that it was a good run. stayed inside because at 11 am it was already way too hott to run outside.

    ran a total of 3 miles with only a small walk for about 3 minutes. felt good but definitely could tell that I didn't run yesterday

  3. no running today because of the storms probably a bad idea to have not gone on the treadmill, but at the same time probably good for my knee to rest a day.

    Felt really good today. it wasn't as hot and I was able to run with only a short stop when my thigh started to hurt.

    felt good. it was realllllly hott so i had to stop 2x to catch my breath and make sure my knee was good. can't wait to go out tomorrow.

    felt pretty good, my knee didn't really hurt much but I dont want to push it so i'm going to try a little further tomorrow and out in the area.

  8. so after 2 weeks of not running after I hurt my knee i decided to try it today.

  9. my training is temporarily halted. I sprained my knee last night. will NOT be running for a while. Does anyone know how long I should rest a sprained knee?

    felt a little sluggish but there was some tough wind to deal with and my shin hurt a little. longest i've run at once so i'm happy.

    felt amazing today. I don't know if it was the lack of wind or what but I felt great.

    Felt alright at the beginning but as it went on i felt better and better. It's crazy what a good pair of new running shoes will help you.

    i felt pretty good. ran further today (i think) don't really have a way to measure how far I run, just basing it on my feeling. i love love love my new running shoes.

    could def tell that I haven't run in a while, despite the awesome playlist on my ipod it was tough. i still love my running shoes :)

    i felt like crap. shins hurt. hip flexors were painful. idk. hopefully i can bounce back from this.

      I found some really good stretches on to help with my hip flexors and my knee!

      oh thanks i'll def have to check that out. some days i feel great some days not... i also think it might be the lack of proper seating at my apt right now, i'm sitting on a mattress on the floor.
