Started out at midday, which is WAY too late to start a climb. Moved really fast to make sure I got to the summit. Very hot and steamy...I sweated buckets. Not great views from the summit...very hazy and quite a bit of cloud. Took a different route on descent...much steeper, had to use ropes a lot of places. Several river crossings as well. Much more interestingroute than the climb up, but you wouldn't want to try it the opposite direction. The forest was lovely - Siefold's beech on the way up, fir trees on the way down.
