Josh ran 13 miles goodDiscovering the Trolley Trail – 13 mi
I felt really good, and had fun discovering the lower half of the trolley trail. As the street numbers got higher and higher, I was getting more and more nervous. (it was fun because it was the middle of the day, and not closer to dark)
Then came th... read more

aaww that is sad. it's sad that there are places that you can't do a simple thing like run....yet there are actually people who have to LIVE there every day!

way to get out there and explore! -
Josh, I've run all the way through there dozens of times. In the summer there's a band of homeless folks who camp in the woods, but I've never had a problem with them. I've run it at night several times too with no worries. There are some pretty cool parts just a little further down, and a few trails to mountain bike. Maybe try running with a friend? Its doesn't seem too bad once you're use to the area.

Josh ran 2 miles alright 2 mi
Two miles, nice and relaxed. I'm trying to save myself for another long weekend run. It will be my last chance to see what I can do before the race.

Josh ran 11.25 miles tiredLong Run (not long enough) – 11.25 mi
I was tired, and didn't want to be out running from the beginning. With a possible 20 mile race coming up in a month, I needed to push out my mileage.
I'm completely unprepared for the race, but I was happy to see myself at least finish the run. The... read more

I saw some coyotes out in the early hours of the day last week on a wet, empty golf course. It's great seeing the creatures out and about! Way to get through the long run.

Josh ran 7.75 miles in 1 hour and 19 mins goodRunning With A Friend – 7.75 mi / 01:19 10:11 pace
It is always nice to have someone else to run with. James had some trouble half way through, so we walked about a mile's worth of it, but overall it was a great run.
I'm enjoying tracking my running routes with my phone, and having exact distance and... read more

Josh ran 5.25 miles in 41 mins goodRunning Too Fast – 5.25 mi / 00:41 07:48 pace
I did not feel like running, but as soon as the sidewalk started flowing beneath me, I really got going fast.
My average pace was below 7:30 if the street-light stops were to be removed. The result of this run was a busted up body. There are quite a ... read more -
Josh ran 5 miles goodRunning An Errand – 5 mi
HaHaHa (I did actually run an errand). So I was not feeling up to a long run, and I couldn't find anyone to hook up with to add a few extra miles in on top of what I felt like doing.
Instead, I ran from work to the library, picked up a book that was ... read more

Josh ran 2 miles in 20 mins goodRun To Work – 2 mi / 00:20 10:00 pace
It is nice to get some optional overtime in, and to be able to run into work, and not have to worry about changing clothes when I get there. As it gets warmer, I would like to consider walking/running/biking(when I get a bike) very seriously.
Not onl... read more

commuting by bicycle is a huge win! My office was 9 miles from home, so I only "ran home" a few times. 18 miles is a bit much for a work day :)

I'd like to get a bicycle for most of my city traveling needs. But even then, I'm not sure how excited my family would be about me trying to make them bike everywhere.

Josh ran 4 miles tiredI Am Exhausted – 4 mi
I'm officially ready for a day off from running. Life has been heavy on my shoulders, and my mileage and energy is suffering greatly.
I think I'm ready for a day of rest, and book reading.

Josh ran 4 miles tiredIs Winter Over Already? – 4 mi
The snow mounds are melting, and it is almost warm enough to go without the shoes again! There is now a ton of snow, water, (and later in the evening: ice) everywhere.
I've been a bit stressed by my busy schedule, and the demands of life. My mileage... read more

Thanks for the review. I have wondered about the Treks but I am still working on breaking in my KSO's. Maybe I will have them worn out by the time the Bikila's come out.
