Yeah I've read that to prevent from burning muscle calories with the fat calories, I've read that a 1/2 scoop should be taken about 30 minutes or so before a long run and then 1 full scoop afterwards.

Tough times, but you will be back soon and have lots of running hunger to feed post college - which is awesome bc there are so many awesome races and you will have the energy to do them!! I'm jealous of your job at Fleet Feet!! Hope it goes well and I hope you continue to recover quickly! I'll be at chicago, too!

Been thinking about you Tyler. Thanks for keeping us updated. Patience can be hard work sometimes, but like most hard work, it'll pay off. Best wishes for a full & fast recovery.

Swimming is an awesome way to keep going through the injury. I did that last fall, and it usually felt great. Don't be afraid of looking silly, either. It sounds like you're embracing that idea...

My work schedule changed :( I can't run like I did the last few weeks so I'll be running about every 3rd day. Miles will be cut roughly in half. I'll get back at it once the other guy gets back from R&R leave.
