Wow, we were pacing pretty close today. I can't seem to get my game on a proper track either! At least we are still at it ;)

Patience! I'm on a new training plan where you run one day a month. :D

Yeah, I'm on the same plan it seems with my new work schedule. I'd be swimming laps at the pool but wouldn't you know the heater broke 2 weeks after I signed up. They're still waiting for the parts to come in. I'm off this weekend so should have something to post soon. ttyl

  2. RUN
    good Track 5 mi 00:42 08:24 pace

Supposed to be mile intervals at the track, but I couldn't hold the interval pace per the plan. So, I covered my failure by just switching to a no-rules Fartlek!

  3. RUN
great Chilly Streets 5 mi 00:43 08:38 pace

The wind made this afternoon 50°F run feel really cold (for my southern blood), but much more enjoyable than the recent muggy weather we've had.

  4. RUN
    Conecuh Forest 13.1 mi 01:58 09:02 pace

Nice, cool, overcast, quiet run in the forest.

  5. RUN
    good Track 4 mi 00:34 08:31 pace

    Short muggy tempo track workout.

  6. RUN
good Easy Streets 3.1 mi 00:29 09:25 pace

Easy, short, recovery run. Cut it extra short due to hunger.

  7. RUN
good Oak Mountain 11 mi 02:42 14:42 pace

Ran the Oak Mountain "Yellow Trail" this morning and then rushed home (3 hour drive) to see if there might be any good football games on TV today. Found one.

  8. RUN
great Nature Trail 5 mi 00:46 09:11 pace

An easy, chilly, breezy, 5 miles to offset zero miles over the weekend.

  9. RUN
great Dirt Road 3 mi 00:28 09:24 pace

    Easy, short, per the plan.

  10. RUN
good Track Intervals 6 mi 00:50 08:19 pace

Intervals at the track. W/u, 3x1600m (7:35/mi) with 800m easy, and c/d. This was a bit too tough today, which I blame on the steak luncheon we had at work.

  11. RUN
great Treadmill Easy 3 mi 00:28 09:12 pace

Treadmill 1% incline. Easy and short run per the plan. What was not part of the plan was something under the treadmill breaking and just about throwing me off.

  12. RUN
great Town and Country 14 mi 02:04 08:51 pace

Had a really nice run starting at daylight on a 60°F foggy morning. I rode with my wife to her workplace and then ran all the way home in a roundabout way. Turned out to be a progression run, start... read more

  13. RUN
great Nature Trail 4 mi 00:36 08:54 pace

Easy miles around the local nature trail.

  14. RUN
great Tempo Track 6 mi 00:49 08:09 pace

Nice 52°F breezy run at the local track. One mile warm up, then 4 miles at 7:45/mi., then one mile cool down...although I was plenty chilly at that time.

Nothing beats exploring new running places! This one is 2-1/2 hours from home.

  16. RUN
    Chewacla Trails 6 mi 00:58 09:44 pace

Had a pleasant running adventure at the Chewacla State Park covering portions of multiple trails, plus making a few of my own. Great to meet Laura A. and a big thanks to her for stopping by to show... read more

  17. RUN
alright Conecuh Forest 7 mi 01:07 09:31 pace

Slow miles on the forest woods roads.

  18. RUN
good Tempo Streets 4 mi 00:34 08:24 pace

One mile warm up, then 3 miles at 8:14/mi. Cool and windy this afternoon!

  19. RUN
great Easy Streets 7 mi 01:06 09:25 pace

Easy afternoon run along the city sidewalks and streets. Lots of cars coming out of parking lots and side streets made for a more cautious run. Still a bit warm, but amazing how nice it begins to f... read more

  20. RUN
great City Streets 12 mi 01:45 08:43 pace

Nice 55°F sunrise run through the streets all by my lonesome self. There is no Dunkin Donuts here to hang with awesome run pals, so home I went.
