Lots of all right faces for me. I honestly don't know if you can ever feel good in the hills we live in. They never get easier. Seriously! This run had soooo many hills it is a constant interval workout. I love it but can't honestly click the big happy as it just is hard!

Awesome early a.m. run Stacia! If you decide to do those more often, let me know so we can meet up for at least part! I agree on hills. When I put smiley faces on some, it's just relative to the others -- and I guess working hard and feeling some burn sometimes feels "good" or even "great"!!

Ha- it was actually my run from yesterday :-) I couldn't figure out how to backdate it so I just posted it so I will look like I have a crazy high mileage day today when I post my real workout :-0
You know that loop up down up down. I kept thinking oh this is a big hill, next one, oh this is a big hill :-)
If I am ever up early I will let you know! What time do you go?

I usually start at about 4:30am and, depending on the route, pass by the intersection of CPP and Forest Park at about 5:30am.

Nice run! Those hills are just making you super strong, especially at the pace you're doing.

Masochistically enough, I am a bit envious. It's really hard to find a hill in Chicago-land. I do hills on the treadmill, which is even more miserable than the treadmill usually is.

Doesn't seem like those hills slowed you down much, that's a great pace and distance!

Tom- ha I lived in Chi town late 80s and it was hard for me to get used to the flats!! Crazy!
BTW guys, Pikes Peak sign up is today!! I am currently a doubler but am planning to pick my poison closer to the event!! Thinking marathon for something different this year!
