TM run..I walked the first minute and then slowly accelerated so my overall pace was slower than usual even though my second and third mile were well under 8:30. I don't know the specific splits because I kept messing around with the speed. These 3 mile runs feel too short..I may end up combining the 2 3 mile runs and taking another rest or crosstraining day..I guess we will see how I feel as training proceeds. Followed up the run with my strength/core routine.


Love that feeling that three miles is "short!" I keep telling my friends starting out and struggling to finish a mile that they'll be running three sooner than they think... well done!

Nice job with the "short" run! I almost feel bad only running 2 tonight. I get going and think well that is not worth my time, better run 1 more....so on and so on!!!! Crazy and I can remember thinking I would never be able to run 6-7 miles!!!!!
