great OMG...I can actually run again 6 mi 00:48 08:04 pace

I wore my ITB strap that my husband bought me a while back but I never tried running with until today. It worked really well...For the first time since I've been having my ITB issues I felt like I had full range of motion. I was surprised by how fast I was going since I was running alone and on the trail but just went with it...felt great.

I was going to do a track workout tomorrow but I think I am going to wait until Wednesday since today's run was a lot faster than I planned on.

    Thanks everyone!!
@ Greg Here is a link for it on amazon http://tinyurl.com/yf95jd8 it has a compression pad that puts pressure on the itb and it is adjustable so you can make it as tight as you want..I was surprised at lack of pain and that I could run normally especially after the pain I had on Saturday

That's interesting. I had an ITB problem a few years ago and the pain was awful. It would have been good to try the strap.

The hopefully good news for you is that in my case, once the ITB sorted itself out I haven't had any relapses. It's been about 4 years now.
