It was 18F when I headed out...I was already to be out in the cold for a couple of hours but my ITB/knee was not. It kept getting tighter and my knee was really hurting..I really do think it as the cold...so I called it quits...I may try again later when it warms up or tomorrow.

Way to go out there and give it a try regardless! I give you HUGE props just for heading out there in the cold, cold, cold. My body doesn't quite know how to function in this weather.

Mine either it is so unusual for us...I really just love my weekend long runs and like to get them done early so that I have the rest of the day with the family...but it didn't work out today.

Sorry about the tightness...I'd say the cold had to be a factor. My repaired knee gets tight in the winter, but warming up in the garage with 10 minutes on the trainer or just some light calisthenics seems to help a lot. Hope you can get back out!

Smart of you to stop before injuring yourself. You'll get it done later.

I seriously don't think it's healthy to be running in this cold. At least you got in 2+ miles. Great job! Hope you feel better.

Wow, 18F, we have one or two days that cold in Canberra each winter, difficult running conditions, hard to keep the fingers warm. Have you got any snow yet?

Greg--no snow :( that would make it being cold worth it.. We don't usually get weather this cold either...very unusual.
