After a late wine, sushi and sake filled night a 7 mile run was not on the top of my "can't wait to do that" list. Headed out the door after an apple streusel pancake & bacon brunch with the hopes I would keep the run at a slow and easy 9:30 avg without looking a the GPS watch, which I stuck in my vest pocket on auto-pause. Felt great throughout, despite having way too many layers on and sweltering because of my oversight. Had to pause twice to wait to cross York Road in and back and a quick pause at Bellona to cross, take off gloves and take off a layer. Hit what I thought was the end of 7 miles & took out the watch and realized I still had 1/2 a mile to go. I had to get creative in the end. I was nicely surprised by my overall pace. I wasn't pushing it at all and felt great. It's amazing that I not only enjoy the runs without the watch on the arm most, but also find myself pleasantly surprised by my time and what felt like little effort. This ran made my day! Hey Gil , I didn't forget my miles :)

Wooooo! Nice job!

Great run Tammi! Lately I've been setting my garmin just to to display my heart rate and heart rate zone and running using that to pace myself no time, no distance.
