10K was after three weeks of no running after the Grand Rapids Marathon. Although I had two cycling event weekends in between - you can't skip the running! I feel like my body has been beat with a baseball bat. I'm telling myself for the millionth time... keep running!

We have a fitness challenge among coworkers which starts this week, although they've all said I'm kicked out because of the miles I put in. Haha. I said, yea, but that's just one day!

Anyway, I always forget how challenging that PNC course is. It's two loops of grassy hills, then some fast pavement, then more hills. I was six minutes faster than last year! Even though it was a cross country run it may be my fastest 10K time overall - know I ran a 10K in spring on road and did 1:01. Must keep running, must keep running beyond races to keep up this trend of improvement!
