    wow looks like the swim I did in the north atlantic last year, although we only swam 700ms and I actually think it was more choppier lol great job James :)

    This race will go down in history as one of, if not THE, toughest Ironmans on record. Hardest IM course in brutal conditions... and it's now a 70.3 race, so there's no way it can be repeated. Insane! Congrats.

    Just read your write up. Sounded like a crazy race. A friend of mine had to stop after the swim due to sickness from the swells. I hear even some of the official lifeguards had been pulled from the water because they couldn't stay on their paddle boards.
