This was a short rehab run to try and loosen up my legs without causing too much pain on my knee. I ran with an IT Band strap around my knee and I think it helped but I could still feel the pain flaring up a wee bit. I couldn't really tell if the strap was keeping the pain from intensifying or not. I wanted to keep this run at around 3 miles so as not to overexert my leg/knee. Because I haven't been running as regularly, my ankles felt a bit stiff/sore. Blah. Good! Keep it nice and loose until your second opinion visit. Remember that the adage "it's a marathon. Not a race" is entirely appropriate in this moment!
