Ugh, pain behind the knee. No fun! Just realized you were from Duluth, any chance you're running the Superior Trail 50k up at Lutsen next weekend? Powerful/beautiful quads in that profile shot, btw.

Hi Rachel - yeah, planning to run Superior next weekend but I haven't signed up yet. I ran it last year and I've done it and the 25K a few times. It's a beautiful course and very rugged. You'll love it if you haven't done it yet. Great views of Lake Superior! See you there!

Very cool to see your training. I live in Thomson, so you sort of ran by my house. Love Jay Cooke!

I love Thomson. Do you have the cool bedrock fins in your backyard? Jay Cooke has some great trails.

I sure do. LOVE Jay Cooke. I access a 5, 6, and 7 mile loop, but there are about 50+ miles of trail that are untouched by me. It is going to be a busy summer! :)
Are you running the Voyageur? I am considering the half.about 3 years ago • Like

planning to run the Voyageur again, but I'm also directing the race so it could be tough. I have a couple of good people to run things on race day, so I may be able to make it work. Hope so! You should definitely run the Half. It's a great race! You'll love it!

haven't posted a workout for a long time. April has been a crappy month. sprained ankle, and now a very sore right knee. I think the knee is quadriceps tendonitis. Never had that before. ... read more
