Calf is improving. Need to resist STRONG urge to hit the roads. It's still a little too early.

Are you using the compression socks? Get lots of Potassium! Trader Joe's has a few juices that have more potassium in them then I have ever seen juices have!

Ariana - wearing compression socks at work and at night. Thanks for the tip on potassium. I love Trader Joe's! There was one just a few blocks away when I lived in South Pasadena, CA. Unfortunately, there's not one in Houston ... or Texas for that matter ...! Are you listening TJ's?

Liz - the water running thing is weird for me. My heart rate doesn't get anywhere near what is does when running the roads. Running form is abbreviated due to the density of the water. The most challenging part is staying mentally focused on keeping the hard segments hard. My mind tends to wander to escape to monotony of the pool. So the hard parts probably didn't an equivalent hard road running effort from me. ... sadly .... (Counting the intervals, time, etc does seem to help my focus though.)
