Experienced a running first this morning. Six miles in to this 8-miler my left calf cramped up to the point I was limping ... big time. Ended up stopping. Tried to massage and stretch it out. Realized I was cooling down and just tightening up. Gimped my way home for two miles. I've seen people stretching out deep into marathons before and wondered "how does that happen?" Now I know! Hopefully this isn't anything lasting.


i had my first cramp issue last year...it is not fun. hopefully it won't be a problem for the rest of the week.

Oh no! That stinks. Do you think you stepped on it funny to cause a cramp? That is so painful. I hope it gets released today!
