Ran for one hour the long way out to Cheshire and turned around 1:00 out 56:30 coming in. Legs are really sore and tired.. 20 days til marathon..mildly concerned

How is your diet? Are you getting enough protein? Maybe a switch from beer to milk as a recovery drink would help. I find it helps me a great deal with recovery to over do the protein soon after a hard race.

Getting plenty of Protein...and carbs..fat..etc...think its the killing it in back to back to back halts (in Muddy sneaker) and a week of yard work..lots of lifting,pulling, crawling, pushing & pulling..sorta of like a cross fit class

Muddy Sneaker is a quad buster for sure. Maybe a flat Rochester Half will not bother you all that much.
