    It was a jog and the jog felt good...ok, so I'm not happy with the pace, but I was taking it easy and trying to enjoy the dark headlamp run on trails...and I did.

      I REALLY like the sufferfest videos. The hour or so goes by so fast and I feel like I've really had a quality workout. Was reading a book about "exercise vs training" and realized I fell into the "how many miles" camp...

      Interesting. I don't think I've ever really trained because I've always wanted to want to run, bike, etc. Have you read Once a Runner? Some great paragraphs in there about what it means to really train.

      That one's number two on my list, TT. I love it (and I'm a BIG fan of Rikki Tikki Tavi, too; just read it in the last year with Young William). Number three is one by Sherman Alexie that I memorized (then forgot) on a plane one time. It's called Ultraman.
