      It went well. I only had 6 weeks to train for this so have not built up the endurance to run the entire 13.1 so walk/ran it. Took 3:20. I am very sore. But I completed it so I'm happy about that. Now I want to train to run the whole thing.

      I had the same when i firsted started. you should get use to it. i hardly ever stretch, so can't help there

      I wondered if it was just another level of building endurance. Sounds like that's the case. I pushed through even though my legs ached. I wanted to push to 3 miles again but I'm not unhappy with 1/2 a mile short. Heck a few weeks ago, I couldn't run 5 blocks let alone 2.5 miles! ;^}

    Staying at a beach house the next few days so my route has changed. Can only run one way & then back track so I pushed 1.5 miles out & back. Beautiful location for a run. Felt fantastic!
