Hit my 1000 + mile since March today. Nice pre-run for or Turkey Bowl Football game that had to be rescheduled to today due to rain. I ran in a brand new pair of Brooks Defyance 3s and they felt great. Ugly in their plainness, come on Brooks get a clue function 10 style 0. I am ready for some football!

Yeah, Brooks needs to get a little funky. The Launch is a step in the right direction in that department. Oh yeah, nice run and 1000 mark reached.

No question there's some doozies in the Brooks looks department. When I first got back into running, I tried out a pair (Switch or Adrenaline) and simply could not get past their plain looks. I told the salesperson that they felt good but looked like something my 62yo dad would wear!

I've tweeted them before and the guy (or gal?) just virtual-smiled and said not to hold my breathe. They've got the Green Silence coming out and its sales will probably dictate their future styling.
