Ran the "Lower Loop" of the Mountain Madness 50K course. It was shorter than I thought. Felt flatter & easier than the "25K Loop". With Angela, Dixon, B. Lass. Felt mostly good, but in the last couple of miles I started to feel this morning's race in my legs. MoMa's 25K Loop ran long last Monday at almost 17 miles. This 7, plus the last 7 "easy loop" makes it about right at 31 miles for September 29th's 50K. First run in Saucony Kinvara Trail. They have 3mm drop, more protection than NB MT110, but they did not feel as good on the feet, and I twisted my ankle twice.
