    Six miles with shoes, and 1.5 without, at Bush Campus during daughter's soccer practice, where they are all gussied up for commencement this weekend. Wasn't that a great sentence?

      It actually has gotten much more accepted lately. Especially this spring I have noticed many runners barefoot after races, and even at high school track meets. People must be getting the message that shoes are generally over-rated and over-protected and often causing overuse injuries. Have you seen the title of my blog at http://runbarefoot.blogspot.com ?

      Nice run! How to do you get to the Eco Preserve? I've never been able to figure it out when I'm up in Jersey.

      There is no "legal" parking specifically for the preserve. You can park in nearby Rutgers Livingston Campus lots and risk the ticket, or park in Johnson park and cross River Road to get to it. I am lucky enough to work less than a mile from it, and the run from work to it is all grass.
