My left calf/shin was cramping up on me a little bit, so it was a fairly tough run. However, I was determined to get at least 5 miles in. 48 days until the half marathon.

Today, I have now run the equivelent of 100 5K's with my Nike+. It was a great run today and I didn't realize how fast I was running. I even ran one of my miles at an 8 minute pace. 53 days until the half marathon.

After running 4 miles on the treadmill I was a bit tired when I started my arm workout. However, I felt great throughout the workout.

After running outside on Sunday I was not happy about running on the treadmill again, but I pushed through it and did it. I kick myself for not getting out yesterday and running outside. 54 days until the half marathon.

I skipped going to the gym yesterday to get some extra sleep after the lock-in on Friday night, so I pushed myself a little bit harder today. My body responded well to the pushing and I was able to increase my weights.

I was a little nervous about getting back out running on the road, but I felt great through the whole run. It was a really good run! Only 57 days until the half marathon.

Thanks! The more and more I run the more I believe that I can do it. Although next week the half marathon trainer has me running no more than 5 miles this week.

It is nice to see that I am getting my weights back up closer to my one rep maximum on each set. I really like the GymBuddy app on my iPod Touch to keep track of my workouts.


I hear you on the dreadmill. I'm going outside today, even if it ends up raining!
