good I Know I'm A Runner, But... 14 mi

Tonight was a completely new experience for me. Since I've lately been beset by nagging leg troubles, I thought I should look into this cross-training thing and find out if it might help me keep injuries to a minimum. So, after almost ten years of not even sitting on a bicycle, I tried out a stationary bike at a local gym. First I did a pre-programmed warm up, and then I set it for a fifty minute ride.

It was tough, but I had a blast, and suddenly it seems like a whole new world has opened up.

I'm sure I have a lot to learn, and I'm a long way away from hitting the road on an actual bicycle, but I think workouts like this will be a great way to practice pushing the pedals.

    I wish I could ride... My lower back does not like me to stay in the riding position too long. My road bike sitting in the garage collecting dust. Ugh. Oh, it was about your work out. Nice job, Todd! =)
