    alright Cycle 16.5 mi 01:08 14.6mph pace

New rule of thumb: If you are riding your bike and you feel no wind in your face on your sides, its at your back. Prepare to hate yourself on the ride back home. http://j.mp/yNxoR0

alright Ferfs Cardio Theater 16 mi 01:00 16.0mph pace

Knees were sore from horse riding -- was really hoping to ride further. I will take what I can get though.

good Ferfs Theater 20 mi 01:15 16.0mph pace

Watched Dodge Ball in the garage during my ride. First 25 minutes were pretty terrible, but after that, got into my groove. Distance is a pure guess, no GPS when you are sitting still :)

good Salemtown > Shelby Bottoms 17.5 mi 01:10 14.9mph pace

Felt awesome on the first half just to realize I had a killer tail wind. Subsequently, I had a killer head wind for the second half. Such is life. Here is to 2012! http://j.mp/tNFZo7 (first ride i... read more

great Ferfs Cardio Theater 15 mi 01:00 15.0mph pace

First 17 minutes felt like an hour. Watched the first hour of Waterboy to get me through my workout though. Dead battery on cyclometer, guessing at distance ;)

good Salemtown To Shelby Bottoms 18.5 mi 01:07 16.6mph pace

Wow, short sleeves are NO LONGER appropriate for riding outdoors. http://j.mp/sSUKIw

good Salemtown > Shelby Bottoms 19.2 mi 01:08 17.0mph pace

Really wanted to ride at 3pm, but then took care of the yard. After that, I was feeling blah - Got a nudge from Amy M. and decided to go. Glad I did, as always. http://j.mp/nsaT28

great Clarksville Sunrise Century 100.79 mi 05:34 18.1mph pace

It was 100 degrees. Poor Rob H. broke a spoke at 50 miles and couldn't ride with me. Glad I did it, not sore at all (somehow) - BTW, 3 months training is not enough. http://j.mp/qtRd60.

Nice pace! I'm trying to remember where the 50 mile mark was... somewhere between Trenton and Elkton, in the middle of nowhere?

It was 5-10 miles out of one of the church rest stops. He waited 45 minutes for help, then refilled his tube and pedaled back to that stop around 9:30am. Didn't get back to the school until have 12. Cool thing was, he was able to assist a number of other riders along the way - so his true race mission was probably accomplished.
