    tired North Face Challenge 28.8 mi 06:40 13:53 pace

    Mud, MUD, Mud and blisters!!! Hilly course with the extra distance because of the ultra. I guess I am going to be ready for my 2nd ultra in a few weeks.

    Hills, rocks, mud and some great trails with Melissa. Ready for next weekend and my first "trail Full!!!"

    Way to hot for a race but I pushed threw with my buddy Robert coming to save me the last 2 miles!!

    First 6 miles up hill threw Hawthorn area and the last 6 miles all down hill. Rain!!! Ran the whole race with my dad and cousin Michelle

      Seriously, Portland!! I'm so jealous! Congrats on another half!! I'm doing San Diego RnR in two weeks. What other RnR races are you signed up for? I'm also doing Chicago, Providence, and Philly.

    First race of 2012 and kicked it off with a nice flat race and time for chatting with a friend the whole time.

    Slow and Steady and chatted with a running buddy the whole time. Not out for time but was out for fun and to get those miles on our legs for the big summer ultra!

    SLoooooow race and way to hot. Got a tad heat stoke and thank god for my best running buddy for keeping me moving!!

    Had a blast in my first Ultra! Ran with the great Larry Macon and of course Wayne to keep me busy. Thank you for Melissa for braving her self to come out and run 2 loops and bring me cookies.

    Great time and really enjoyed the martini on the course. Had a wonderful time in the city after and seeing all my Maniac friends!!

    Walked at an incline for the first 5 min fast 4.0 speed 7%grade then ran the rest of the 25min at 1% grade.

    Not sure how long it took I totally forgot to look at a watch but did jog up a HUGE hill with Milo and climb down the steep rock wall.

    He stayed on the whole time and only got off to get 1 quick sip of water. Poor guy had to listen to me sing Moves like Jagger. LOL

    Not bad. Walked at 7% incline for 5 min then sprinted for 30 seconds every 2 min. on a 1% incline the rest. Milo hung in the whole time believe it or not. Crazy dog!!
