i think i really needed the long rest. i wasn't able to workout in the gym or run outside because of the rains. plus, my work sked is murder.
what happened was i started the race in front of the crowd. i picked the pace of the pacer doing 5 mins/km. i fell back a little then caught the 5:30 min/km pacer. maintained that for a while until my knee gave in. finished with a 6:00 min/km pace with a very slight limp.
i think i need to have a doctor look at my left knee. it's an old injury from football (s

Important din talaga rest. Actually it's a PR for a Fort/Buendia 21k route.
My Greenfields time is 2:03, but that race course was generally flat.

oh, and my 21k PR is 2:03. but that was a very flat race route. this 2:06 PR is on a Fort/Makati Business District race route.
