good Saturday 10mile Ride with Trevor 10.26 mi 00:52 11.8mph pace

Nice ride with my wife around a couple different neighborhoods than normal. I've been less than motivated to ride recently, but am glad (afterward) that we got a ride in. I guess that's how exerc... read more

  2. VELO
good Bike Camping and Around 44.18 mi

The ride out with all the other bikers was great. The ride back was more grueling. I was very exhausted, but it's great to see how many miles we all put in!

  3. walk
    alright Bluegrass 10K 6.2 mi 01:30 14:30 pace

Ran the first mile, and then walked the remainder. I had done very little training, and my knee was giving me a lot of trouble after the first mile. Still, happy to be a part of the event and to fi... read more

  4. VELO
good All Over the Place 11.3 mi 00:57 11.9mph pace

Nice ride with two fellow bikers around multiple neighborhoods (including a jaunt through a park). Won't be riding the next few nights, so it's good to get a few miles in.

  5. VELO
good To Leestown Road and Home, Es... 22.25 mi

I could tell during the first part of the ride (out to meet a buddy) that I hadn't been riding in weeks...I was exhausted. The ride home was a lot better, though I coasted a lot more than I liked ... read more

  6. VELO
good Here and There And Somewhere 1.45 mi

Quick ride to make sure the road tires I put back on didn't have issues.

  7. RUN
alright Hartland Park to Home 1 mi 00:10:30 10:30 pace

My knee started giving me issues around halfway during the run home, but somehow we ended up having a faster pace on the jaunt home. I'm trying to figure out a good form that I can maintain, that ... read more

  8. RUN
good To Hartland Park 1 mi 00:11:20 11:20 pace

Went for a quick run with Kristi. The weather was perfect for running, and we had a really good pace. I stopped and walked/jogged a bit while Kristi added some more mileage before meeting up with... read more

    great Shakertown 4 mi 02:00 30:00 pace

Went for a hike as part of Kristi's birthday weekend. Had never been on the River Road trail, and it was fun to hike around and see High Bridge as well as the Palisades and KY river.

great To Farmer's Market then Pedal... 12.85 mi

Rode downtown to visit my wife and pick up some locally-grown food, then rode over to drop off my bike (which may not be tuned-up 'til Wednesday...sad). Challenged myself to pedal more often (less ... read more

    great Work Commute 18.4 mi

My first commute of the year. I still hate hills, and they still hate me. One day, maybe, we can become friends.

  12. VELO
great Delong Road Squires Loop 10 mi 01:00 10.0mph pace

I'm wondering if I'll ever get used to hills (I say this every year). Other than that, a great ride with two friends (and glad to have the company on Delong). It was HOT, but we made good time -- s... read more

great Downtown Lexington 10.25 mi 01:00 10.2mph pace

Went out with Kristi for our second time doing the Bike Lexington Family Fun Ride. Met up with multiple friends and enjoyed riding all over downtown with tons of other riders. The weather was super... read more

    great Walnut 1/2 Century 50.15 mi 04:45 10.6mph pace

The first 30 miles felt almost effortless (other than a few challenging hills). Our pace dropped significantly on the final 20 miles -- due to a nasty headwind and fatigue setting in. Felt incredib... read more

    great Lexington, KY 8.2 mi

First long ride of the year. Felt great the entire time. Had to muscle up all the hills, but it was excellent to be out on the bike. Planning a long ride for this weekend, if the weather cooperates.

  17. RUN
good Georgetown, KY 5 km 00:39 12:28 pace

First event of the year (with only a handful of training runs beforehand). Ran slower than most walked, but kept a consistent pace throughout. We'll see how I do in the 10K in July.

  18. VELO
    great Downtown/Richmond Road/Squires 10 mi
