      Okay, so I've read other people drinking coke too during a race.....now ironically I do crave diet soda/sprite when working out -- but have never considered drinking it on race day. i feel like carbonation would create stomach cramps -- can you tell me the reason people choose this beverage? I have been curious for a long time!! Good job by the way!!

      It's flat Coke, so no carbonation to worry about. I think it's something with the sugar/quick carbs. I don't even like Coke on a normal basis; rarely do I even drink soda at all, but it sure tasted good on the run!
