Coming off an inspirational high from IMLP, one of my next goals for this year is to BQ in September during the VIA Marathon. I have not done speed work in sometime, simply because it wasn't the immediate goal, but it is now.
Last night right before bed I read an article about various types of progression runs.
Well...it was on my mind when I woke up...so here's how it went;

3 7'46"/mi 152BPM
4 7'37"/mi 156BPM
5 7'36"/mi 161BPM

    PS: I had 2 friends BQ this year and they both used Scott Pfitzinger's Advanced Marathoning book and swear that was what did for them.

    Patrick - Thank you very much for the suggestion. I'm a freakn' book addict when it comes to reading how to better my training, so I will definitely be looking and buying that book. I only have 46 days to VIA - so this will come in handy. Thanks again - really appreciate it!
