For New Year's morning, I ventured out on a fundraiser ride. I was under the impression the ride would be 25 miles, but when I signed up there was a 20 or 35 option. I opted for the later since it was New Year's Day and all, why not go a little farther. After being without my bike for several months (my bike was stolen), I was sorely reminded that I need to "workout" particular parts of my body. Most specifically the part I sit on. Anyhow, after riding 18+ miles, the pain began to set in. If the road was pretty smooth, I could handle the ride, otherwise I braced myself and winced with every bump. I swear there were some streets enjoyed hurting me. All and all, I was very pleased to be on the bike again!

Kudos to you for taking the bigger challenge! And, yeah, sometimes it takes a while to get back in the saddle. :)
