I have a DVT in my Right arm that was caused from a fall off my bike. I have been on coumadin for about two weeks. I feel wose now being on this medicine. I feel tired, weak, and dizzy. When I run I feel like the workout is twice as hard as it use to be and take me longer to recover. I would like to know if anyone else has had this happen or if I can take something else. I am trying to qualify for the trials and feel my dreams are going to be crushed by taking this medicine. I need to be on it for 6 months

That is pretty serious Tammy. I hear your frustration though. I don't know if there is an alternate medication. Did they give you a surgical option or did that have dangers of a clot breaking loose?

That is very serious Tammy I am an OR nurse, have they talked about putting in an IVC filter?? I know this is not what you want to hear, but I think you need to take care of yourself , first and foremost. You definitely dont want this clot to travel, you need to stay on the medicine.....
