Stupid squirrels and hills 26.39 mi 01:53 14.0mph pace

Discovered lots of hills north of my house. Did the twin peaks 4 times today just for the hill work. Hills on a bike are a lot like running hills. Practice...practice....practice. 40% physical and 60% mental. The highlight of todays ride was when a squirrel ran in front of me and I ran over his tail. I felt bad, turned around to check on him and he had the nerve to chatter at ME! He was fine. I don't feel bad anymore. Starving!

    A few years back, I got the "other end" of the squirrel. He didn't fare so well. But a 20mph peleton cannot have its leader swerve to avoid a dumb squirrel (==> pile up). Glad to see the miles piling up. And good pace, too!
